CIFOR

CIFOR is a nonprofit, global facility which is focus on offering more information to help the equitable decision making in forests in less-developed countries. According to their website, their research and expert analysis help policy makers and practitioners shape effective policy, improve the management of tropical forests and address the needs and perspectives of people who depend on forests for their livelihoods. They have projects in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Their head-quarter is in Bogor, Indonesia. They also offer global positions for the scientists and internship for the students.
