Since October 1st, Hugo Pierre from France is working in the newly established joint position of IUFRO and IFSA at the IUFRO headquarters in Vienna.

This is a big step in IFSA’s history as it is the first paid position in IFSA that has ever existed. It also marks a great development in the collaboration with IUFRO, one of IFSA’s most important partners.

The new position could not exist without the support of the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management who have also acknowledged the new position with a press release on their homepage!

We congratulate our IFSA friend Hugo on this great opportunity and hope for a successful collaboration with IUFRO!
