Description: Founded in 1988 by students from the universities of Barcelona, Warsaw and Utrecht, the European Geography Association for Students and Young Geographers (EGEA) currently consists of more than 90 local student groups in 38 countries around Europe, with hundreds of active members. The association forms a network for geography students and young geographers to exchange knowledge and to enable its members to discover their potential as young scientist.

With IFSA: EGEA does not have an official partnership with IFSA at the moment. The agreement, currently in the discussions, would be about collaboration in youth matters that affect both associations and about expanding both association’s network by sharing the contacts of partnerships.
