WINTER MEETING OF FORESTRY STUDENTS 2012

The Slovenian Forestry Students Association (SiFSA) is happy to announce and invite you to
Winter Meeting 2012 in Slovenia.

The eight day long meeting will begin in Ljubljana with lectures of professors from the Biotechnical faculty. They will present some main features of Slovenian forests and forestry. This year we are planning to see the north-east part of Slovenia. We’ll begin our travel with expert-guided excursions in the north part with high mountains and montain forests. Then we’ll continue our journey east, admiring different landscape types. There we will see a lot of capital forests, which the far east doesn’t have. Instead we will learn about low-production and swamp forests and managing methods in particulary. The last days of the meeting will be spent visiting the sunny vineyard region and its culture.

This is the first notice for invitation. More information about the meeting will be available in January, when the registration will open as well.
