IFSA and WFC : communication document to partners

One of IFSA's goals is exchange between students. This part is the place to discuss about forestry issues, IFSA issues and everything else which should concern us!

IFSA and WFC : communication document to partners

Hi people,

I was tired of sending e-mails and our "standard" letter to ask for funds. I think it doesn't look serious enough.

So I thought a bit about my work : one part of it is to read presentations of projects that might have an impact on water (quality, quantity...many different projects !!). I check that they respect the environment and law to give them the authorization to start the project. But funding organizations look for the same : they want to see :
- who is talking to them ?
- what are the problems of the current situation ?
- what solution do they propose ?
- why should they pay for ?

So I took this scheme and tried to make a document based on it. But I made it shorter than the ones I receive at work, for 2 reasons :
- there is not so much to say (;-))
- it is much more efficient to have an easy-to-read document than a long one that no one's gonna read.

Its aim is to be sent to :
- potential financial partners
- media (in particular international ones, such as CNN, RFI, BBC, ...)
- technical partners for spreading

I am just sending you a draft. The big foreseen changes are :
- outlet (Rémy ? ;-))
- a table summarizing : aims - actions - indicators

Please comment it.

best regards and thanks for your inputs !!

Yes that is right, it is really good to make an easy-to-read document than a long one. It is more convenient for some clients to read the documents.
