Asia-Pacific Forestry Week report finished

Dear IFSA members,

the cooperation between the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations made it possible: a delegation of 24 students attended the second Asia-Pacific Forestry Week (APFW) in Beijing, China, November 7-11, 2011 (http://www.ifsa.net/apfw2011.php).

IFSS 2012 Turkey Update

Dear Members of IFSA

It is an honour for us to organise IFSS 2012 in Turkey.

We have been working hard to bring you the best IFSS. Although some problems have occured, we are sticking together to work on the solutions and are progressing step-by-step.

The dates of IFSS 2012 have changed. It will be held between 1st-15th August. The program has changed as well. This is due to the fact that IFSA7 needed to change the time of the GAs and workshops and there was some bad news from other faculties of Forestry as well.

Lastly, I was supposed to declare the participation fee but as the economy of Turkey has been affected by current problems caused by the financial crisis of neighbourhood countries, we are not able to provide an exact amount right now.

IFSA 7 Board Meeting in Freiburg

One week meeting in the Secretary of IFSA where we are going through the IFSA Strategy, IFSA Statutes and prepapring for the very soon up-coming General Assembly in IFSS in Finland!! Yoooohooooo :-)

IFSA's new Officials

Dear visitor!

last month IFSA met for it's IFSS which is the most important meeting withing IFSA and takes two weeks. During that time as many IFSA members as possible come together to decide about anything for the new IFSA year: There can be changes in the statues, ideas for actions and also just IFSA friendships beginning to start.
