Through the cooperation with our professional partners IFSA broadens students possibilities to: 1. get to know the professional organisations in the field of forestry and so improve the knowledge of possible job options after finishing studies; 2. write articles and; 3. participate of scientific conferences and workshops.

IUFRO is a non-profit, non-governmental international network of forest scientists. Its objectives are to promote international cooperation in forestry and forest products research, on a voluntary basis.
It unites more than 15,000 scientists in almost 700 Member Organizations in over 110 countries.
The 2006-2010 IUFRO strategy is oriented toward three main goals:
(1) to strengthen research for the benefit of forests and people
(2) to expand strategic partnerships and cooperation
(3) strengthen communication and links within the scientific community and with students as well as with policy makers and society at large.
IUFRO is divided into 7 Divisions
Division 1 : Silviculture
Division 2 : Physiology and Genetics
Division 3 : Forest Operations Engineering and Management
Division 4 : Forest Assessment, Modelling and Management
Division 5 : Forest Products
Division 6 : Social, Economic, Information and Policy Sciences
Division 7 : Forest Health
Division 8 : Forest Environment
Also, there are several task forces and special programmes.

CFA Commonwealth Forestry Association

The Commonwealth Forestry Association (CFA) is the world's longest established international forestry organization. EFI European Forest Institute

EFI is an international association guided by its members which form an extensive researcher network across Europe.
EFI's mission is to conduct, promote and co-operate in the research of forests, forestry and forest products at the pan-European level, and to make the results of the research known to all interested parties, notably in the areas of policy formulation and implementation, in order to promote the conservation and management of forests for producing goods and services in a sustainable way.

IPFE International Partnership for Forestry Education

The International Partnership for Forestry Education (IPFE) is a not-for-profit, voluntary partnership to address the challenges and opportunities facing university-level forestry education globally. IPFE facilitates collaboration, and sharing of information, experiences, resources and skills, for education about forests and forestry.
Vision:
Our vision is of forestry education that is contemporary, locally-relevant and globally connected, and responsive to the global development agenda.
Mission:
IPFE is a global network to assist university-level forestry education to meet society’s needs. It facilitates partnerships between university forestry educators and other relevant institutions to jointly improve the quality and relevance of forestry education programmes.
Priorities:
IPFE’s priorities are defined as:
• sharing learning and experiences of curricula, courses, methods and joint programming;
• strengthening and connecting regional networks in order to share knowledge and address needs;
• partnering with student bodies to learn from, support and enhance their learning;
• fostering dialogue among diverse interests about forests and forestry education;
• enhancing societies’ understanding of forests and forestry; a key role for universities
