Dear IFSA Friends,

The position of IFSA Web Sub-Commission Head has become available to those who are looking for more ways to get involved within IFSA.

Commissions, including sub-commissions, are executive bodies of IFSA established by the General Assembly in any composition and for any tasks. The Web Sub-Commission head will be working on the IFSA official website, email forwarders, and organization information together with the commissioners under the direct supervision of the Communications Commission head until July 2017. Furthermore, the Head of Web Sub-Commission must work on specific tasks and projects defined in the IFSA yearly plan of activities.

Tasks of the Head of Web Sub-Commission:

  • Conduct maintenance on the website to ensure that its software remains up to date and secure;

  • Filling the events page with events and open calls announced through the mailing lists or directly by the organisers;

  • Keeping the IFSS information including all contents across the IFSA website up to date;

  • Work with the regional representatives to keep the members’ information up to date;

  • Manage all IFSA email forwarders;

  • Upload documents (e.g. newest adopted statutes, meeting minutes) for the download page;

  • Provide help to the other administrators of the site (IFSA7 and Regional Representatives);

  • Work with groups established for specific tasks/projects;

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have a high level of self-motivation and strong team building skills;

  • Be a current Ordinary IFSA Member or have graduated from an LC in the region within one year;

  • Have experience or motivation to learn WordPress website management; and
  • Preferably, have knowledge in HTML and other programming language.

  1. Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae;
  2. A motivation letter not exceeding two pages (stating why you think you would make a good candidate, what are your goals and motivations to fulfil this role, and how much of your weekly time can you allocate for IFSA); and
  3. Letter of verification by your LC President stating that you are a member of your LC or an alumni (recent graduate) of your LC.
