Dear IFSA Friends,

 

The position of IFSA Head of  Publications sub  Commission  has become available to those who are looking for more ways to get involved and active within IFSA.

 

Commissions are executive bodies of IFSA established by the General Assembly in any composition and for any tasks. The head of Publications sub commission will aim to have two kinds of regular publications, which the Head of Publications Sub-Commission needs to oversee:  IFSA News  and IFSA Online Editorial If possible, the publications should be released twice a year (= every six months).

 

The objectives of the IFSA News are to:

 
  • Be a channel of information and aid exchange of experiences between IFSA members; and

  • Be one of IFSA’s promotion materials, i.e. an informative and attractive journal that catches the interest of students, potential members, IFSAs professional partners’ sponsors etc. The Head of Publications Sub-Commission can decide him/herself, if the IFSA News are divided into an internal and external newsletter.

 

The objectives of the IFSA Online Editorial are to:

 
  • Involve IFSA members in the writing of IFSA news, interviews and current topics and publish them in an online editorial; and

  • Involve IFSA Alumni as peer reviewers for such articles; and

  • Develop the IFSA Online Editorial

Special focus of the Head of Publications Sub-Commission should lie on the copyrights of texts and photos of the publications.

 

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have a high level of self-motivation and strong team building skills;

  • Be a current Ordinary IFSA Member or have graduated from an LC in the region within one year;

  • Preferably, have knowledge and experience in the Publications sub commission.

  1. Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae;

  2. A 2-page motivation letter (stating why you think you would make a good candidate, what are your goals for this role, and what your motivations are to fulfil this role)

  3. Letter of verification by your LC President stating that you are a member of your LC or an alumni (recent graduate) of your LC.
